55+ Volunteers Can Get Partial Reimbursement for Gas and Meals!

Want to have your gas reimbursed and receive a free meal when you volunteer at the Samaritan Center?

If you're 55+, that opportunity is knocking at your door through RSVP.

RSVP, which stands for Retired and Senior Volunteer Program, urges seniors to get involved as volunteers in their community. To help make that possible, the program offers reimbursement for mileage ($.20 per mile) and $4.00 for a meal for every 4-6 hour day spent in service.

Beyond those benefits, volunteers involved in RSVP will be invited to a yearly recognition event in appreciation of the difference they have made in the community.
